BRIDGES AND VIADUCTS
Bridge Design is one of the main expertise of the company, following 30 years’ experience of its key personnel. NSE develops Bridge Design for any type of traffic, e.g. rail, road or pedestrian and any type of project, whether it’s a new bridge design, or existing bridge’s widening or rehabilitation.
Our projects include state-of-the-art solutions, including dynamic studies, soil-structure and soil-structure-vehicle interaction studies and on-site technical assistance.
INTERMODAL, RAIL AND METRO STATIONS
Our aim is to provide full scope projects for Intermodal Stations. NSE develops the Structural Design and Geotechnical Studies and promotes/coordinates the integration of other specialties, teaming with proficient and qualified consultants from complementary areas of expertise.
GEOTECHNICAL WORKS AND UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES
Tunnels, wells, underground stations, retaining structures and special foundations. In the scope of Geology-Geotechnics NSE has the capacity to develop Low Enthalpy Geothermal Studies, an innovation for heating solutions in buildings.
HYDRAULICS AND MARITIME WORKS
In partnership with hydraulics specialists, NSE works in the design of hydraulic tunnels, Underground Works and other Concrete Structures - Reservoirs, Dams ranging from small , hydroelectric production facilities to large scale developments, pumping and treatment facilities, spillways and water intake towers.
BUILDINGS
Our company’s participation has been developed according to the concept of 'integrated project', beginning in the early stages of the architectural design process to provide an up-to-date utilities design. Some reference projects developed include residential, commercial (shopping centres) and business developments, hotels, industrial, logistics, educational and hospitals.
URBAN PLANNING AND LANDSCAPE
In the development of projects whose volume and urban insertion demands the development of environmental mitigation projects and landscape design, our company coordinates the development of such complementary studies involving experts in architecture and urban planning, landscape architecture, environmental engineering.
