Summary: Structural Inspection and Structural Reinforcement Design of three existing reinforced concrete bridges dated from the 1960’s with mixed steel and concrete decks, with maximum spans of 31m.

The intervention consisted of onsite inspection, rebar detection and materials testing, detailed and global structural evaluation. The reinforcement design included strengthening of concrete girders with carbon fibre laminates, repair and reconstruction of damaged parts, repair and replacement of support unit and injection of cracks in the concrete.
