Two stations (underground and surface) of the Oporto Metro network with 4 500 m² total deployment area.
The project included the design and development of the structural project, excavation projects and retaining systems, several additional studies, and construction monitoring. These stations were designed by the famous architect Eduardo Souto Moura. These were particularly demanding underground structures because of its geometry, size, spans and also because of its location inside an urban area, a very heterogeneous solid mass and full of underground water.
